Oscillatory phenomena of higher-order fractional Laplacians
We will go over some examples manifesting the oscillatory behaviour of fractional Laplacians of order greater than two. These include domains not satisfying the weak maximum principle, with sign-changing Green function, with sign-changing first eigenfunction, negative s-harmonics associated to positive data, and finally the failure of some rearrangement inequalities.
